Hello! My name is Amy and I have created Cherry & Bee to bring fun, energy and passion to the lives of little ones through educational and physical development! I have worked with children in many different capacities for the last 10 years, most recently as the Headteacher at Gymboree Hackney & Islington. I have also worked as an elementary school classroom assistant, as an online school skills English language teacher, I volunteered as a nursery nurse, and headed up summer school sessions. I have also been an au pair, a nanny, and a babysitter.

I have built up my in-depth knowledge of creating, programming, structuring and running children’s classes in a large and extremely successful children’s centre which was part of a global brand over the past 4 years. I am proficient in leading a multitude of children’s classes, from baby sensory, music, art and play classes to school skills and theatre arts drop off classes. I have also been a children’s party leader for many years, and I have an associate degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education.

Our Cherry & Bee sessions will take place in various venues across Newcastle such as Seven Stories and St Gabriel's Church Vestry. They allow little ones to work on their physical development, build their social and emotional skills and allow their creativity and imagination to blossom. My 45-minute teacher led activities will allow little ones and their grown-ups to dive into the theme of the week through music and play, exploring instruments and songs, games and movement, with lots of parachute and bubbles fun!
